caprice

n: impulse
adj: capricious

Love, to me, is like a ball bouncing on rough cement.

It hits an uneven part of the road and capriciously jumps diagonally, maybe toward you or away from you. But, always, somehow, it comes back to you. Maybe not straight back to you but at least you saw where it went and you'll chase after it.

When bouncing on paved, even ground, a system runs. You know its precise rythms and methods of retrieval. Expected returns.

That's love to me, bouncing on caprice and systems, often simultaneously. Free and still loyal.
